Common questions about these plans

What does this membership do?

It monitors identity and credit signals, alerts members to flagged activity, and — if a covered identity theft event is confirmed — can assign licensed private investigators for restoration work. Plans also include data-broker opt-out help, a password manager, VPN, and malware tools. Like other monitoring services, it cannot prevent every incident.

What is the difference between 1-bureau and 3-bureau?

1-bureau plans monitor Experian. 3-bureau plans monitor Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. Restoration, when needed, still works across all three bureaus even on a 1-bureau plan.

Who is on a family plan?

The member, a spouse or domestic partner, and eligible dependents under 18 living with you. Dependents 18–26 may receive consultation and restoration only — not full monitoring.

Is the $3 million a cash payout?

No. It is identity fraud protection insurance for certain covered expenses and losses, underwritten by American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida (an Assurant company). PPLSI is not an insurance carrier. Read the plan terms before relying on any dollar figure.

Are pre-existing identity problems covered?

Usually not under the full restoration benefit. Members can still get specialist consultation, help placing fraud alerts, and ongoing monitoring for new issues.

How do I cancel?

This is a prepaid monthly subscription. Members may cancel in writing — typically by emailing support with name, membership number, and phone. Confirm the current process after you enroll.
